At the heart of Pennsylvania Mushroom Company is a deep love for all things fungi, and a commitment to sharing that love with our community.

Founded by Espo and Kristan Wilcox in 2021, the business began as a small-scale effort to grow and forage high-quality mushrooms right here in Pennsylvania. What started as a passion project quickly blossomed into something bigger: a way to connect people to the land, to each other, and to the incredible potential of mushrooms in food, health, and everyday life.

In 2024, they opened the Market, Gift Shoppe, and Kitchen in Lucinda, PA. It's more than just a store — it’s a warm, welcoming space where locals and visitors can explore fresh mushrooms, shop handmade wellness products, and enjoy a meal made with care. The in-house restaurant features hearty, mushroom-forward favorites like pizza and stir fry, all prepared with ingredients grown or gathered by the team.

Pennsylvania Mushroom Company also crafts small-batch medicinal tinctures and wellness goods, supporting natural health and everyday vitality. Beyond the products, Espo and Kristan are passionate about education and community — offering foraging walks, mushroom growing classes, and creative events that invite people of all ages to learn, explore, and connect.
